Monitoring natural environments
The following placed-based activities monitor natural environments and relationships between humans and natural environments. They have been organized to assist schools in selecting appropriate monitoring protocols. They provide studies that correspond to school curriculum and the call for community based studies that engage students while helping communities. These protocols are drawn from a wide variety of standard processes used in monitoring natural environments. Many are drawn from the GLOBE.gov website.
